Nutritionist Choice Instant Wakame Flakes are dried wakame, the soft, silky sea vegetable you find in miso soup and seaweed salad. The flakes swell a long way in a few minutes of cold water, so a pinch is a serving.
Good to know
As described by the manufacturer:

- Rehydrates in a couple of minutes in cold water
- Keeps in the cupboard, unlike fresh sea vegetables
How to use it
Soak a pinch in cold water for 2 to 5 minutes, then drain. Add to miso soup, salads, rice bowls and broths. Start with less than you think.

Seaweed contains iodine. Speak to your doctor or dietitian first if you have been told to limit iodine, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are managing a thyroid condition.
